Board of directors
The Comité sectoriel de main-d’œuvre de l’industrie des mines (CSMO Mines) is a non-profit organization founded under Part 3 of the Québec Companies Act. Its operations are managed by a board of directors, an executive committee, and a management group supported by a permanent team.
The board of directors sets the committee’s guidelines and intervention parameters and establishes the action plan. There are 24 directors serving on the board, 8 from industry, 8 from labour associations, and 8 from various provincial ministries. The CSMO Mines general manager is also a non-voting member of the board of directors.
The executive committee is responsible for a more systematic implementation of the action plan. It has 8 members, the majority of whom are representatives of companies and labour associations. Executive committee members are identified with an asterisk (*) in the list below.
